Delegate Ireland moved to amend the Finance Chairman’s strike and insert (“SB505 HFIN AM”) on page one, section nine-c, subsection (a), line six, after the word “state” by changing the period to a colon and inserting the following proviso: “Provided, That any royalty payments shall have previously been paid to the appropriate mineral owners pursuant to the terms of any existing lease.”; and

On page one, section nine-c, subsection (b), line sixteen, after the word “state” by changing the period to a colon and inserting the following proviso: “Provided, That any royalty payments shall have previously been paid to the appropriate mineral owners pursuant to the terms of any existing lease.”.
